Today was another down day and so we were left to do whatever we wanted. I went to “Sculpture park” to look at the sculptures, but it was so cold and Ally couldn’t take it so I ended up going back to the Hotel and picking up more layers before walking down Arabat street again. We just looked in shops that we hadn’t looked in before. I don’t think that there is anything more that I must buy, but I am looking around while I am out there. I figure that I should be able to live on the remaining ruble that I have without having to get anymore.

I went over the paperwork one more time for the embassy tomorrow, and should be going to the American embassy around 2:00. We are also working to get the information from the Belgian Embassy so I can get the transit visa necessary for the stop in Belgium. I pray that all goes well. If everything goes well and I get the Belgian transit visa, then I can leave on Tuesday evening, rather than Wednesday evening. I want to get out of here. Living in the hotel is rather boring and tedious after a while.
Ally has began going potty in her pants rather than on the toilet. She was doing so well, I am not sure why she is not any longer. It could be the regression that we were expecting, or it could be testing. She went in her pants right in front of me after she just told me she didn’t need to go to the bathroom.. UGH, talk about frustrating. I told her that she needs to use the toilet, not in her pants. Of course, she didn’t understand me but knew I was upset and so she started crying. It is so frustrating with no communication between us, yet she is capable of communication with everyone else and refuses to speak to them. UGH.. We were warned that this was going to be the hardest part, but boy, how hard we didn’t realize.
Anyway, here is to praying the embassy goes well tomorrow.
